The Ojai Pottery and Clay School is a professional studio for adult students at all levels dedicated to teaching and supporting the creation and promotion of ceramic arts. We provide a creative space for the community to learn and develop skills for creating pottery and ceramic art as well as a showroom in which to exhibit and sell their creations. The school was founded by students of master potter Frank Massarella, who has occasionally returned to OPCS as a teacher.

Our Gallery  displays and sells the work of many of the studio's potters. There you can find unique, handmade sculptural and functional ceramics from local artists working in a wide range of styles. If you are lucky, you might even find the potter working in the next room. 

 

Gallery hours vary but generally coincide with our studio hours (1-4 pm daily, except Wednesdays). Look for our street signs.
